Porcelain Bathtubs

This is the most common type of bathtub that is refinished. A typical porcelain bathtub is actually made of cast iron with a ceramic material as a coating. This coating is applied using high heat to melt it to a smooth surface.

Over many years, the porcelain surface can become chipped or dull, which makes it much more difficult to clean. Sometimes the chipped areas expose the metal below, which can then start to rust.

Refinishing the bathtub fills in significant chips and applies a smooth, glossy coating that is very easy to clean. It is so shiny that it looks wet all the time.

You also have the option of a free non-slip treatment  to the floor of the bathtub.

A written 10 year warranty against peeling is provided.
